WHAT IS PADEL?

What is Padel?

Padel is a sports mix of rackets inspired by tennis and squash, played on a 200 m² court surrounded by glass walls and fences.

The calculation of points is done in the same way as tennis.

The balls used have slightly less pressure than a tennis ball.

On a classic court, the padel is played only in doubles and the service is necessarily done with a spoon.

Its biggest difference from tennis is the use of glass walls. Players can bounce the ball just like in squash.

The padel was invented by the Mexican Enrique Corcuera Living in Acapulco.

The concept was quickly exported to Spain where it is enjoying huge success. With two million players in Argentina and eight million players in Spain, it is becoming a very popular sport.
