Synthetic turf
Univers Gazons offers its customers the latest technologies in terms of synthetic turf for indoor or outdoor 5v5 football.
When choosing a sports turf there are 3 criteria to take into account:
The decitex (or dtex) which corresponds to the weight in grams of the fiber over 10,000 meters.
For example if your artificial lawn has a dtex of 11,000 this indicates that the weight of the fiber over 10,000 meters is 11 kg.
The higher the dtex your synthetic football turf has, the heavier the fiber will be, so the stronger your lawn will be.
The Backing which represents the support or the fiber will be sewn.
Today there are 2 types for artificial sports lawns: latex and polyurethane.
For 5-a-side football we recommend synthetic turf with a polyurethane base which is much more resistant to tear than latex.
For example, for latex, the average resistance is 50 newtons, while with a triple polyurethane backing we can achieve more than 100 newtons.
For highly stressed surfaces, the choice of backing is therefore very important
The last criterion is the density of the synthetic turf which is represented by the number of points per m2 and the number of tufts per point.
For a lawn with infill, a minimum of 12,000 points / m² is required and for a lawn without infill 22,000 points.
We therefore offer:
For indoors, synthetic turf without infill + under cushioning layer of 10 or 20 mm.
For great durability over time, we manufacture an ultra dense artificial lawn (over 23,000 points / m²), with high Dtex fibers (over 19,000 Dtex) with a triple polyurethane backing.
For outdoor 5 soccer projects we use a 60 mm thick 17,500 Dtex double fiber, 13,500 points / m² lawn with triple polyurethane backing.
At the filling level, it takes about 20 kg of silica + 15 kg of aggregates
Finally the last important point concerns the installation.
Univers Gazons has its own technicians who have experience in laying synthetic turf for football.
The direction of installation of a lawn, the realization of the joints, the filling must be carried out by qualified personnel!
